3DSMax, Photoshop, Mental Ray render
A game-engine compatible Lamborghini Diablo. Standing at 11,882 tris without it's interior and 14,207 tris total, this was my attempt to create a vehicle that had a balance of looking next-gen yet still relatively low poly. I chose to color it red specifically to work with the "El Diablo" theme.
True story:
For a while I worked on this file under the name of "Lamborghini." After a few days, it became a hassle to have to spell that out correctly so I changed it to an easier title: "L-Diablo."
Immediately after the name change, 3DSMax crashed hourly, textures files wouldn't render correctly, and random modifiers on the geometry stacks would corrupt and " explode." These issues never occured so often for any of my other assets or projects! I joked that the name is cursed and the car itself hated me with a passion.
While uploading this page to my FTP server for this website, Dreamweaver crashed once and my Pandora radio station started playing "Every Breath You Take" by The Police...
